*Independence Day Celebration at Green Crescent Public School*
On the auspicious occasion of India's Independence Day, Green Crescent Public School organized a vibrant and patriotic celebration on 15th August, 2024 at the school premises. The program, filled with enthusiasm and a deep sense of national pride, was hosted by two talented students of class 10th, Ali and Maira Asif, who kept the audience engaged throughout the celebration.
The ceremony commenced with the flag hoisting by our respected principal, Mrs. Sheeba Anwar, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, which filled the air with patriotic fervor. The principal then delivered an inspiring speech, reminding students of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the responsibilities we carry as the future of the nation.
The celebration continued with a series of performances that showcased the students' talent and love for their country. The next segment of the program was a lively drill performed by students from classes 1st to 5th. Accompanied by the rhythmic beats of drums, their synchronized movements reflected discipline and unity.
Shabee, a student a student of class 10th, delivered a powerful Hindi speech that resonated with the audience, highlighting the significance of freedom and our duty to uphold it. Following this, the school choir performed the soulful song 'Mera Watan Vahi Hai', evoking a deep sense of patriotism among all present. The patriotic spirit continued with a melodious performance by the school choir, who sang 'Mera Watan Vahi Hai', stirring the emotions of everyone present.
Pallavi, one of our talented students, delivered an eloquent speech in English, emphasizing the importance of national unity and upholding the values of freedom. This was followed by a touching Urdu speech by Hilal, which expressed the essence of freedom and our collective identity as Indians.
The students of classes 9th to 12th presented a mono act that captivated the audience with its powerful message and skilled performances. This was followed by another Hindi speech, further reinforcing the themes of independence and national pride.
The program concluded on a high note with a spirited dance performance to the song 'Chale Chalo', which was met with resounding applause. The event ended with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all who contributed in making the celebration a grand success.
