Sports Day Celebration at Green Crescent Public School: On 29th August, 2024 Green Crescent Public School celebrated Sports Day with great enthusiasm and excitement. The event was a showcase of the students' energy, spirit, and competitive zeal. From the youngest students in Pre Nursery to the more seasoned participants in Class II, each child took part in the fun-filled activities. The day kicked off with the Toffee Race for the little ones in Pre Nursery. It was a delightful sight as the children used their faces to move toffees from one place to another, eliciting cheers and laughter from the audience. Next up was the Musical Chair event for the Nursery class. As the music played, the children danced around the chairs, displaying their joyful expressions. The excitement was palpable as the chairs gradually disappeared, leaving one winner standing. The students of KG showcased their agility and focus in the Object Collecting race. The young participants eagerly collected various objects placed on the ground, demonstrating their keen eye and quick movements. For Class I, the Dress Up Race added a twist of fun to the competition. The children had to quickly put on their school uniform shirts and shoes before racing to the finish line. Their determination and speed were admirable as they raced against time and each other. The final event, the Relay Race for Class II, brought the day to a thrilling conclusion. The teamwork and coordination displayed by the students were remarkable, as they raced towards victory. The event culminated with the announcement of winners, who were cheered on by their classmates and teachers. Each child who participated was a winner in their own right, showcasing not only their athletic abilities but also their sportsmanship and team spirit. Overall, the Sports Day celebration was a resounding success, leaving everyone with memories of fun, competition, and camaraderie.

    *Independence Day Celebration at Green Crescent Public School*

    On the auspicious occasion of India's Independence Day, Green Crescent Public School organized a vibrant and patriotic celebration on 15th August, 2024 at the school premises. The program, filled with enthusiasm and a deep sense of national pride, was hosted by two talented students of class 10th, Ali and Maira Asif, who kept the audience engaged throughout the celebration.
    The ceremony commenced with the flag hoisting by our respected principal, Mrs. Sheeba Anwar, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, which filled the air with patriotic fervor. The principal then delivered an inspiring speech, reminding students of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the responsibilities we carry as the future of the nation.
    The celebration continued with a series of performances that showcased the students' talent and love for their country. The next segment of the program was a lively drill performed by students from classes 1st to 5th. Accompanied by the rhythmic beats of drums, their synchronized movements reflected discipline and unity.
    Shabee, a student a student of class 10th, delivered a powerful Hindi speech that resonated with the audience, highlighting the significance of freedom and our duty to uphold it. Following this, the school choir performed the soulful song 'Mera Watan Vahi Hai', evoking a deep sense of patriotism among all present. The patriotic spirit continued with a melodious performance by the school choir, who sang 'Mera Watan Vahi Hai', stirring the emotions of everyone present.
    Pallavi, one of our talented students, delivered an eloquent speech in English, emphasizing the importance of national unity and upholding the values of freedom. This was followed by a touching Urdu speech by Hilal, which expressed the essence of freedom and our collective identity as Indians.

    The students of classes 9th to 12th presented a mono act that captivated the audience with its powerful message and skilled performances. This was followed by another Hindi speech, further reinforcing the themes of independence and national pride.
    The program concluded on a high note with a spirited dance performance to the song 'Chale Chalo', which was met with resounding applause. The event ended with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all who contributed in making the celebration a grand success.
    The Independence Day celebration at Green Crescent Public School was not only a tribute to the nation but also a reflection of the students' dedication and creativity, making it a memorable day for everyone involved.

      Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Event at GREEN CRESCENT PUBLIC SCHOOL, ALIGARH

      On 10th August, 2024, Green Crescent Public School organized a significant event in alignment with the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a nationwide cleanliness campaign. The event featured various activities aimed at raising awareness about cleanliness and hygiene among students. The program commenced with a session conducted by the IEC team, led by Mr. Mohammad Firduas Raza (in-charge), along with Supervisors Sheelendra Kumar, Anju Singh and Nazreen from Urban Evirotech Service Pvt. Ltd., to educate the students of our school on the prevention of communicable diseases. The team provided information on the use of four different colored dustbins and how to maintain cleanliness in the neighborhood and surroundings. The speaker emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness in our surroundings and shared insights on how individual efforts contribute to the larger goal of a clean and healthy nation. The lecture was both informative and inspiring, leaving the students motivated to take action in their own lives. Our respected Principal also addressed the students, reiterating the significance of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The Principal encouraged everyone to adopt cleanliness as a daily habit and emphasized that a clean environment leads to a healthy life. The Principal's words resonated with the students, fostering a sense of responsibility towards maintaining cleanliness in the school and at home. The event also included a creative segment where students showcased their artistic talents through posters and rangoli designs. The posters depicted various aspects of cleanliness, with powerful messages encouraging everyone to keep their surroundings clean. The rangoli competition added color to the event, with students creating beautiful designs that symbolized the essence of the Swachh Bharat mission. A special highlight of the event was the sapling plantation drive. Students took the initiative to plant saplings around the school campus, contributing to the environment and promoting the importance of greenery as part of a clean and sustainable future. This activity not only beautified the school premises but also instilled in the students a sense of responsibility towards environmental conservation. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony. The best posters and rangoli designs were awarded, recognizing the students' efforts and creativity. The winners received trophies and appreciation, which served as a motivation for others to participate actively in future events. Overall, the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan event at our school was a resounding success. It not only educated students about the importance of cleanliness but also provided them with a platform to express their creativity and commitment to this noble cause.
