Green Crescent Public School celebrated Constitution Day with enthusiasm and reverence at its Doharra and Medical Road branches, commemorating the historic efforts of the Constituent Assembly in framing the Indian Constitution. The students of classes 8 to 10 at the Medical Road branch performed a reenactment of the discussions and debates of the Constituent Assembly, highlighting the contributions of notable leaders such as Jawaharlal Nehru, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, and Dr. Rajendra Prasad. The program focused on the efforts of the Drafting Committee, chaired by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, along with contributions from Gopalaswamy Ayyangar, Mohammed Sadullah, B.R. Mitter, D.P. Khaitan, and Sarojini Naidu. Through this reenactment, students demonstrated the vision and determination that helped shape the world’s largest democracy.

The program at the Medical Road branch was conducted by Maira Asif of class 10-A. Mrs. Zoya Siraj and Mrs. Asna Anwar prepared the students for their roles, while Miss Hira Mehak coordinated the event to ensure its success. The event was conducted under the guidance of the Principal, Mrs. Iram Ahmad, whose support added to the program’s impact.

Meanwhile, at the Doharra branch, students presented a skit depicting the struggles faced during the adoption of the Indian Constitution. The skit emphasized the importance of fundamental rights, such as the Right to Equality, Right Against Exploitation, Right to Freedom of Religion, Cultural and Educational Rights, and the Right to Constitutional Remedies. Students from classes 6 to 9 actively participated, delivering a powerful message that all citizens must uphold these rights and implement them in their daily lives as responsible individuals. The skit concluded with a heartfelt pledge by the students to build a stronger India.

The Doharra branch program was hosted by Aqsa and Madiha of class 9 and Mehreen of class 8, with Nahid of class 9 playing the role of a judge. The skit was prepared under the guidance of Ms. Sana Habib, while the decorations and charts were creatively designed by Mr. Ali, Ms. Maryam Sadaf, Ms. Sehba, and Ms. Sana Habib. The event was conducted under the supervision of the Principal, Mrs. Sana Rahim, whose leadership ensured the program's smooth execution.

Both branches of Green Crescent Public School successfully highlighted the importance of the Constitution as the foundation of India’s democracy, reflecting the aspirations and values of its people. The dedication and efforts of the students and staff made the celebration a resounding success. Special acknowledgments go to Mrs. Asna Anwar, Mrs. Zoya Siraj, Miss Hira Mehak, Ms. Sana Habib, Mr. Ali, Ms. Maryam Sadaf, and Ms. Sehba, whose contributions ensured the event’s success.
